Get the Catherine Deneuve french style

Big news alert: Vintage dressing is not all about 50's full swing dresses (which is perfectly ok). And in this post we're going to show you vintage outfits to wear this fall, from office to party (not including 50's prom dresses). Now that the weather is officially cold it's easier to start improvising your morning outfits (if you know what is in your wardrobe, that is!) by adding new pieces to your existing ones. To refresh your wardrobe, you just need statement pieces to transform your style. Today, we're celebrating the iconic style of French women who are known for their laid back, yet stylish look.

Vintage outfits to wear for fall and winter inspired by Francoise Hardy

This vintage outfit is inspired by the French singer, Francoise Hardy and her effortless look. We all know a trench coat can be the highlight of your fall style. Work your vintage look around the coat by adding bold pieces like this vintage print pussy bow shirt mixed with a real leather croc handbag. Finish the look with a pair of 70's sunglasses by Dior.

Who doesn't know Jane Birkin? The woman whose name is synonymous to the famous Birkin bag by Hermes. A model, singer, actress and wife of Serge Gainsbourg, Jane is not French. Nevertheless, she lives in France since the 70's. We picked this simple to chic look, print vintage skirt matched with a fine knit jumper and finished off with a statement vintage necklaces for the perfect fall look.

Lastly, we take a look at Catherine Deneuve's bohemian outfit. How fabulous is this look! Floral maxi dress styled with a long dark navy coat and accessorized with brown belt and boots. So modern and so contemporary! To get her look we added our wool vintage coat with real fur collar (easy removable) and styled it with our Diane Freis floral vintage dress. Compliment this boho chic outfit with vintage necklaces in different lengths.
